Half the static capacity of a fixed bench, all of the storage, and a 37.5-inch height that parks under a wall shelf. Here is when that trade is worth it.

The short answer
A rolling workbench trades roughly half the static capacity of a fixed bench — 1,000 lb instead of 2,000-2,500 lb — for six drawers, a keyed cabinet and a 37.5-inch height that parks under wall shelving. For most garage work that trade is worth taking, because almost nothing you do puts 1,000 lb on a bench.
The rolling bench that actually stores things: six drawers, a keyed cabinet and a 37.5 in. height that parks under shelving, at the cost of half the static rating.
The most flexible bench of the group: the broadest height range, casters in the box, and a USB-C port — on an engineered-wood top rather than solid hardwood.

What a rolling bench is actually for
Not for rolling. Most rolling benches get rolled into position once and then never move again. The reason to buy one is the shape: 37.5 inches tall, with the storage underneath rather than behind, which means it fits in places a 65-inch cabinet bench cannot.
Three specific situations where that matters:
You want wall shelving above the bench. A 65-inch bench with an integrated pegboard back rules that out. A 37.5-inch bench does not — see the best garage shelving for the 12-inch-deep shelves designed to go above a bench.
You work on the car as well as at the bench. Rolling the bench to the car with the tools already in it beats carrying the tools to the car.
You rent, or you expect to rearrange. A bench that moves is a bench you are not committed to a wall with.
The Eltean and the Rumetol are nearly the same bench
Worth saying plainly, because they look like two options and are effectively one. Both are 37.5 in. H x 55 in. W x 19.7 in. D. Both publish 1,000 lb. Both have six drawers, a lockable magnetic-door cabinet with an adjustable shelf, side pegboards and a screwdriver slot in the handle.
The differences are small and real. Eltean splits its drawers 4 narrow + 2 wide; Rumetol goes 2 tall + 4 short, which handles bulky hand tools better. Eltean publishes a 108 lb shipping weight; Rumetol publishes 109 lb. Eltean is usually cheaper.
Buy whichever is cheaper on the day, unless you specifically want the two tall drawers, in which case buy the Rumetol.
The alternative: a bench with casters in the box
Two benches here are fixed benches that happen to include casters, which is a different and sometimes better proposition.
The Northsky M2-9001 ships with casters AND leveling feet, publishes a 2,200 lb top rating and a 500 lb shelf rating, and adjusts from 27.9 to 43.4 in. You get full fixed-bench capacity when it is on feet, and mobility when it is on wheels. The CAMMOO WBW70 does the same thing at 70 inches long, and publishes the height range for each mode separately — 31.2-41.8 in. on casters, 28.2-38.8 in. on feet.
What you lose is the storage. Neither has drawers or a lockable cabinet, so you are pairing them with a tool chest rather than getting storage in one purchase.
Casters: the spec to check
Every rolling bench here has four casters and two brakes. None publishes a caster load rating, which on a bench rated at 1,000 lb is the gap that should bother you most — the casters are the part carrying everything.
What you can judge: whether the casters are removable (the Northsky and CAMMOO let you swap to feet, which eliminates the problem entirely), and whether there is a side handle to push against rather than shoving the benchtop. Both the Eltean and the Rumetol have a metal side handle, which is the right design — pushing a loaded bench by its top edge is how you rack a frame.

1,000 lb claimed maximum capacity, sheet-steel construction
6 drawers on slides (4 narrow, 2 wide) plus 2 cabinet doors

Where it wins
+Six drawers and a lockable cabinet on a bench you can roll out to the car and back
+37.5 in. height clears most wall shelving, so it parks where a 65 in. bench cannot
+The handle doubles as a 13-slot screwdriver rack, which is the kind of detail that earns its keep
+Side pegboards ventilate the cabinet, which genuinely matters if you store solvents
Where it doesn’t
−1,000 lb is less than half the static rating of the fixed steel benches
−19.7 in. deep: narrow, and the drawers eat into usable knee space
−Drawer slides are described but never rated, so per-drawer load is unknown

Where it wins
+A real wood top on something this small and this cheap
+Rolls, so it becomes the second surface wherever you are working
+Height-adjustable, which a small bench needs more than a big one
+Tucks between a car and a wall
Where it doesn’t
−No published capacity figure
−Small castered tables wander under any sideways force

Pair it with wall storage above
The whole argument for a 37.5-inch bench is the space above it, so use that space. A 12-inch-deep wall shelf or a pegboard panel at chest height turns a rolling bench into a full workstation — and because the bench moves, you can mount both before you have decided exactly where the bench lives.
Why is a rolling bench rated so much lower than a fixed one?+
Because the load path runs through four casters instead of four legs planted on the slab. Eltean and Rumetol both publish 1,000 lb against the 2,000-2,500 lb of their fixed siblings. That is the honest cost of mobility, and 1,000 lb is still far more than most garage work puts on a bench.
Will it roll away while I am working?+
Two of the four casters lock on every rolling bench here, which is adequate but not ideal — a braked swivel caster still creeps under sustained lateral force. If you plan to hand-plane or file heavily, brace the bench against a wall or buy a fixed one.
What is the advantage of the 37.5-inch height?+
It clears most wall shelving. A 65-inch fixed bench with a pegboard back cannot have a shelf above it; a 37.5-inch rolling bench parks under one. In a garage where wall space is the scarce resource, that is a genuine layout win.
Rolling workbench or rolling tool chest?+
A rolling workbench has a bigger, flatter top and fewer, deeper drawers; a rolling tool chest has more drawers and usually a published per-drawer slide rating. If you need a work surface, buy the bench. If you need drawers you trust, buy the chest — see the best tool chests for a garage.
