Corrections come first

A wrong load rating on an overhead rack is a rack above a car. A wrong circuit requirement on a heater is an electrician's wasted visit. Specification errors here have real consequences, so they go to the top of the queue.

What helps: the page, the figure you think is wrong, and if you have it, a link to the manufacturer's published spec. A link is not required — pointing at the problem is enough, and we will verify it against the maker's own documentation.

Confirmed errors are corrected promptly and date-stamped on the page, and if a correction changes a pick, the pick changes. The editorial policy sets out the process.

What else to write about

• A product we have missed. New products appear constantly and we would rather hear about one than not.
• A page that did not answer your question. This is genuinely useful — a gap you noticed is a gap other readers hit.
• A specification we marked as unpublished that you have found published somewhere official. We would like to add it.
• A pick you think is wrong, especially if you own the thing. Owner reports are part of how these pages get built.
• Media or partnership questions. Answered honestly, including when the answer is no.

What we cannot help with

• Orders, shipping, returns and warranty claims. We do not sell anything — those go to the retailer or the manufacturer, who hold your order and your warranty.
• Sign-off on electrical or gas work. Those need a licensed professional who can see your building, and no email can substitute for that. Our terms explain why we hold that line.
• Paid placement. No manufacturer pays to appear on this site, and that is not negotiable. The affiliate disclosure explains how the site is actually funded.
